Overview of functions

• Form for tree inspection (customizable): Basic data (tree species, height, crown width, trunk diameter, etc., characteristics/damage crown, trunk, trunk base, root area, surroundings, measures according to ATTC-Tree-Care)
• Recording of areas (forest-like stands with negative control), map sections for layout
• Layouts: report per tree, tables, map sections
• Queries/filter functions
• Symbolization: controlled trees, unfinished measures with priorities
• Mobile recording with QField and QGIS
• Import and export options in numerous formats (QGIS)

Some functions are only available in QGIS and not in QField. Fields and values are stored in English, the values themselves are translated with aliases and stored in the respective language project (input forms and layouts are translated).

Support is free of charge for one year after purchase and is only available via the ticket system. Support that goes beyond ordinary questions, such as the creation of instructions, remote maintenance, editing and customization of data is subject to a charge (83.19 euros net per hour).

License and terms of use

Allowed:

You may only share the data that you have created yourself, not the data that you have purchased from us.

You may share the database with your own data(database.gpkg) and data generated from it, such as PDFs, printouts, geodata (ESRI Shapefiles, KML), XLSX, CSV, images, etc.

Each organization needs a license. There is no limit to how many users, devices, trees or customers (tree cadastre) are allowed within your organization.

Not allowed:

You may not share the project(project*.qgs), the database with the values (database-values.gpkg), exported styles, layout templates or similar.

Support:

Your purchase of our software includes basic support to assist you in using the software. This includes answering general questions and troubleshooting software problems as long as you are using the current version of the software.

Services not covered:
Please note that our support does not include services such as the creation of instructions, editing of data or remote maintenance. These and other personalized services are available for an additional charge.

Support terms and conditions:

• There is one access to support per user, which is tied to the person or company the license has been registered to. If more than one person requires support, either a separate license or additional support access (monthly or annual) must be booked for each additional user.
• Support is only provided for registered license holders. Please ensure that requests are always made using the license holder’s name and contact details stored in the system. It is not permitted for several people to share a license and request support under a different name.
• If it is determined that support requests are being made by unauthorized users, we reserve the right to refuse support or charge additional fees.
• Support for bugs or issues that have already been fixed in an updated version of the software will only be offered to users of the latest version. For best results, we recommend that you update the software regularly.

Fair Use Policy:
Our support is based on a fair use principle to ensure that all customers receive an even and smooth service. This means that support is available for general inquiries and problems to a reasonable extent. If support is overused, we reserve the right to charge additional fees or suggest extended support options.

We accept no liability for damage resulting from the use or non-use of the tree register. In particular, you are responsible for the correct operation, storage and backup of your data. You have access to the download and thus to all updates for one year after purchase. The download link is no longer valid after one year. You must save the data beforehand or extend the license. The term is not extended automatically. The tree register can continue to be used indefinitely thereafter. Depending on the version, functions may be limited or unavailable. The apps in particular are optimized for mobile use on small screens and only have a limited range of functions. Additional costs may be incurred for external services or mobile data usage. Screenshots may vary. Languages are translated by artificial intelligence and may contain errors.
